NoMonthlyFees.com - Free Domain Name Registrar Transfer Instructions

Do You Have A Web Hosting Account With NoMonthlyFees.com ?
Is your domain name registered with another REGISTRAR  (a REGISTRAR is the place where you REGISTERED your domain name... such as networksolutions.com, register.com, opensrs, etc.)?
Do you want it to be registered through us so that it will be INCLUDED in your Annual Fee ???

If yes, then read the following:

FACTS ON REGISTRAR TRANSFER PROCESS:

  1. Process takes anywhere from 2-4 WEEKS. There is NO way to make it happen any faster.
  2. NoMonthlyFees.com submits REGISTRAR TRANSFERS every Friday. No exceptions. This means that if today is Monday, and you make a request for a Registrar Transfer, we will not actually submit your domain until Friday.
  3. Domain name must be in GOOD STANDING with the current registrar. This means it must be a paid domain and not be in a dispute of any kind, and cannot already be in transfer process, and cannot be in REGISTRAR LOCK.
  4. Registrar Transfer is FREE of charge for the FIRST request. If the transfer fails because you did not comply with the guidelines here, you will have to pay $50 for future requests.
Once your domain transfers to us, the domain name registration will be included in your annual web hosting fee as your free domain name.
  5. Domain name cannot be a RESOLD Account.
  6. There is NO GUARANTEE that the REGISTRAR TRANSFER will succeed. It is up to the LOSING REGISTRAR to make the FINAL authorization to release the domain to us... some times, they will just refuse the transfer and provide no explanation at all. We have no power in this case, and will provide no support or consultation except to advise you to CONTACT THE LOSING REGISTRAR DIRECTLY and ask them what you can do.

If you have READ and UNDERSTAND and AGREE with ALL of the above, follow these instructions to REGISTRAR TRANSFER your domain name:

  1. Make sure your domain name registration has not ALREADY EXPIRED. We cannot transfer a domain name that is already expired.

  2. Set your WHOIS ADMIN contact email address on the domain name to:

    YOUR CURRENT EMAIL ADDRESS

    This is a REQUIREMENT.
To do this, go to your CURRENT REGISTRAR and ask them to update this info for you.
Other than that, we do not provide any INSTRUCTION on doing this.
If you submit a request and the WHOIS ADMIN contact email address is not set correctly, we will simply cancel your request WITHOUT NOTICE.

  3. RUN a WHOIS on your domain name, and make sure that the domain name is not LOCKED.

  4. We MUST have the:
    REGISTRY KEY or REGISTRY CODE
ALL domains have this. To get this code/key, contact your CURRENT REGISTRAR and ask them for it.

  5. Use the form here!

  6. The following FRIDAY after you submit, you will get an email with any further instructions.
